Job Description

Our client, an established group specialist practice located in Spring Hill are actively seeking to appoint an experienced Part Time Medical Receptionist to join their  team.  Candidates will need to have at least 12 months industry experience to be considered for this position. 

Joining this dynamic team of professionals, you will enjoy a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere.  The long term staff at this practice are all positive, helpful, honest and hard working.  

This is a part time permanent position working 3 days a week.  You must have the flexibility to cover additional hours during periods of staff absence.

Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Answering all incoming phone calls and emails and maintaining administrative/clinic processes
Meet and greet of all patients visiting the practice
Preparing and running patient clinics
Processing patient billing for consultations and providing assistance with theatre quotations and theatre bookings
General administrative and secretarial support to the team as required

To be considered a suitable candidate, you will need:

At least 12 months industry experience (preferably coming from private practice specialist)
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
A high standard of personal integrity - loyal and trustworthy 
Flexibility to cover sick and annual leave relief from time to time
The ability to work cooperatively within a small team as well as autonomously 
Ability to multi-task and prioritise 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A sound understanding of Medicare, DVA, Workcover and Private Health Fund billing processes.

Remuneration:

An hourly rate between the range of $28 - $32 p/hour + super will be offered to a suitably experienced candidate.  Additional employee benefits including flexibility around working hours will also be on offer.
